Barara Kendell a.k.a. Rebel
Not only does Barara have every fan letter from her Gladiator days, she also has her old costume- and still wears it. "I prefer to use [the costume] than weight or body-fat scales. I figure if i can still fit into it, I must be doing something right!" she says. The former body-building champ runs her own outdoor fitness business, and also auditioned to host the new series with Vulcan (John Seru). "Vulcan and I were being considered [for the hosting roles], but Tom Williams and Zoe Naylor got the jobs." Does Barbara plan to watch the new series? "Absolutely", she says. "And i wish [the new Gladiators] the best of luck... not to dislocate a knee, tear a pec, cork a thigh or get whacked in the head by a giant cotton bud!"
